Glasnost, an Ace agency, is the #1 earned thinking agency from Amsterdam. They connect brands, people and culture through the power of creative pr. Glasnost works for a wide variety of top tier clients, among others are Vodafone, Unilever, Diageo, Porsche and Google. Ahead of its 10th year anniversary Glasnost decided it wanted a brand revamp. So we did.

Through various strategic team sessions, 1on1 interviews and thorough brand and market analysis we (re)defined the Glasnost brand identity. This has led to an updated brand strategy, business proposition and brand positioning.

To drive awareness around the new brand positioning we launched the campaign: We Revolt, They Talk.
A homage to the revolutionary heritage as well as a link to the ‘earned first’ philosophy of the brand.
The campaign consisted of a unique 3D animated hero film, created by design-director duo HyperCulture, a new visual identity, website, branded content and various updated brand assets (email signature, WT wallpapers, social thumbnails, banners etc). The campaign was focused on 3 specific audiences, each targeted with a different approach: the creative & advertising industry, existing and potential clients and creative young talent (employer branding).

Following up the organic efforts we launched a 6 weeks paid social campaign focused on leadgen including the new showreel and short proposition films.

The brand campaign was covered on industry leading media platforms such as Adformatie, Marketing Report and FONK Magazine. In the 4 months following the campaign launch, Glasnost social media following showed an increase of +30% across all platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram) and organic search went up +15%. The campaign generated multiple new leads and has helped to attract new clients such as Bitvavo, Hellmans, Gladskin and Getir.
